Victor, both you and the candle are in a pressurised environment. The pressure is caused by gravity, atmospheric gases, ambient temperature and humidity (The weather plays an important role in some of these). If you wanted to do your experiment correctly you would need to have a candle burning in a vacuum and move your hand in a vacuum, the problem with this is that a candle burns oxygen fuel mix from the gases that are present in your room, which wouldn't be in a vacuum. If it was of course possible to conduct a vacuum experiment though, you would find that the lit candle wouldn't flicker because of your hand.
(You see when you move your hand the air around you attempts to flood where ever your bodies mass previously was, this causes a flow of air by your movement, there wasn't any VEEG's present I'm afraid.
