Uncertainty and locality

If I am right about the nature of the photon
Except you have no quantitative predictions, no working model and nothing even resembling a logical series of deductions, just random guesses about phenomena you don't read about, so we have no way of testing whether you are right about the nature of the photon. But you'll continue to think you are doing science none-the-less. That about right?
 
Please explain how science gets done if it doesn't involve ideas first. You may work out the math for an idea but you need an idea to work with. Or do you think that math will provide the ideas?
