Well, I did not get as much feedback on this thread as I had hoped, but I will tell you now. The reason that I posted this thread is because I wrote a new article on Wikipedia that you can access at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_genetic_code . It is well documented, and does supplement the article on the Standard Genetic Code, but I do not feel comfortable with it. I was hoping to get more feedback so as to update it accordingly - and I will. My intentions were to lay down a more progressive evolutionary framework that we can build on. I will use the feedback that you have all given me to update the article in the near future and I thank you all for your input.
