Hi MacG! No, I don't think it's a tulip. Does tulip flower grow on big tree

I don't know the name, but it looks like an eastern redbud. I asked my
friend to take that pic with his camera because its so full of beautiful pink
flowers although it has no leaves. There are a lot of that kind of tree in
schloss burg Solingen (in Germany). It was taken March this year (early
spring). :)

I haven't checked this particular thread for like one week.

I don't understand, but I see you got red card for this (I guess its an
infraction), so I guess it means something bad.. or is it a compliment
I probably haven't realize what I have done, but sometimes I made a joke.
You can tell me by PM if you wish..

ok!

It wasn't directed at you; dragon made some smart ass comment, which he now seems to have deleted.

They just call it a tulip tree, because the blooms look like tulips. I'm not sure what the "proper" name for it is

Here's a pic of a tulip tree in bloom:

Oh, I didn't know it before! Yes, I think its the same one! Then the name is
tulip tree... Oh.. thats really really beautiful

I'm familiar with the magnolia...but I think the tulip tree is a different variety. Both are beautiful though.
