Zoom in if u can't see the 20s.
You people need to take some basic image editing and netiquette classes.

Yay, Varda's back, with pics!

I like the close up of the cat. It's hard to tell if it's a house cat or a mountain lion :).

How big is that nephila? Big enough to feed lizards to?
I threw an anole to a big nephila while I was in Costa Rica. That was brutal. I'll have to put the video on youtube or somthing.

That last spider's a wolf spider, isn't it?
You ever go out spotlighting at night, and there are so many that their eyes sparkle like dew in the grass?

the cat wins no questions asked

It was about the size of my hand with it's legs spread. not that my hand is so big, but that was one big clavipes. I threw a bunch of stuff in the web but it didn't want to play... it was walking slowly back and foward on the web in a kind of a "leave me aloneee" way

It's deffinitely in the Lycosidae family, but the genus and species is so hard to tell... there are just too many. I was checking up for that specific pattern on the abdomen plus the colour of the chelicerae, but then I got bored and started to do something else... heyy I'm not that much of a spider dork, a girl has to go out and play sometimes

Parentheses and I don't look as poor as I<'d> look<without a picture like that>

Actually, you look like a poor person who is desperately trying to not look poor.
That was the impression I got, anyway.
