Lyrics and Chords

Why should I care, why should I care

/ F G7 Em Am F - G - C - - - /

Girls of fifteen, sexually knowing
The ushers are sniffing, eau-de-cologning
The seats are seductive, celibate sitting
Pretty girls digging prettier women

/ G - - - / F C G - / :

Magically bored on a quiet street corner
Free frustration in our minds and our toes
Quiet storm water, m-m-my generation
Uppers and downers, either way blood flows

/ C F C F / / / C F C - G - - - /

{Refrain}
Inside outside, leave me alone
Inside outside, nowhere is home
Inside outside, where have I been
Out of my brain on the five fifteen

Out of my brain on a train

/ F Bb F C / / / F - C - G - - - / F C G - /

Out of my brain on a train

/ G - - - F C G - /

On a raft in the quarry, slowly sinking
Back of a lorry, holy hitching
Dreadfully sorry, apple scrumping
Born in the war, birthday punching

He man drag in the glittering ballroom
Grayly outrageous in my high heel shoes
Tightly undone, know what they're showing
Sadly ecstatic that their heroes are news

{Refrain}

Out of my brain on a train, on a train
Whoa, I'm out of my brain
Hoo, out of my brain on a train, here it comes
{Ad lib. a bit}

Why should I care, why should I care

I'm at work, so I can't access streaming video content (well, I can, just not youtube), but I will tell you that since his death I've been getting back into Michael Jackson's old music. My current favorite jams are Liberian Girl, Leave Me Alone, and "Scream", the duet with Janet.

For as much of a freak as he was...the man made some tremendous music. Wow. I think we've all forgotten how great he was.

In the beginning , back in the 60's and 70's he wasn't a "freak" as he turned into, brought on by his entourage of hangers on primarily.

Well, I'm not sure how much of his freakness was brought on by his hangers-on as opposed to his abusive father and literally entire life spent in front of the cameras, but that's another topic for another day.

As far as his music goes, I think Mike made good music all the way through.

im listening to a local band called Silverback a lot lately. theyre a straight edge hardcore band that write about animal cruelty, spouse abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, and racism. i'll find a link and post it
