I just got Raw III, the first new album by Sir Lord Baltimore in 30 years! Yes, they became born again Christians or something, but hey, it happens (The bassist for the New York Dolls became a Mormon).
I didn't watch it for the longest time, but I was a huge Brendon Small fan. Tell a fangirl to WATCH your new show, and it works. Now I love death metal. :shrug:
I'm glad to see somebody posting new music for a change. But since most of you seem to be time-warped into the Classic Rock era, try this one:
Aly & AJ cover Grand Funk Railroad's "We're an American Band." A nice respectful but fun gender-bent version, in two-part harmony to boot. I had to learn this song for an audition and their cover is a cleaner production and easier to play along with than the original--although it's in the wrong key.
Oddly enough it turned out that the band I went to play bass for has their female singer do this one, and she'd never heard of these gals.
