The Squirrels, The Not-So-Bright Side of the Moon.

Yes, it's what it sounds like. Featuring Kurt Bloch (Fastbacks), Skerik (Critters Buggin'), Don Pawlak (The Souvenirs), Tortelvis and Ed Zepplin (Dread Zepplin), Baby Cheevers (is totally insane), and Ella the Dog (as Seamus/"Mademoiselle Knobs").

Now playing, "On the Run". On deck? Duh. "Time".

It's ironic that the album features Skerik. I picked this up tonight at a Squirrels show ... for which I ended up skipping a chance to catch Skerik's latest project, McTuff.

To the other, perhaps it's best I missed Skerik. My daughter was conceived in the early morning hours of February 15, 2002, after her mother and I—broken up as a couple—spent a couple hours and a few dollars getting drunk at the Rainbow on 45th, seeing Skerik play a set with one of his many projects; this one also a tribute, called Crack Sabbath.
