Weird. I've just watched it. Some folk didn't like the ending. Terrence Howard was, as always, pure class. Now if that had have been a Jap film it would have been sublime, they have the balls to do what Hollywood wont. Anyway, as far as Hollywood goes it was really fucking good, nah it was on its own merits. And Jodie Foster is probably the best female actor this side of Glenn Close.

I might agree with you if I haden't wised up on Cate Blanchet. I've gone halfway through certain movies without realizing its her because she's so goddaming convincing in such a diverse amount of roles. Though of course Jodie Foster stars in Contact which is epic! Cate Blanchet might be the best actor/actress I've ever seen period.
