The Muslim Ban Has Begun!

Now it appears that the nominated AG is being asked if he would be willing to act against the constitution and act contrary to his oath of office..... bah! what a Trump inspired nightmare...

exactly!
She has a case for unfair dismissal IMO
All persons, who are by virtue of their employment, that enforce this illegal order are also in breach of the constitution.

All person sacked for failure to comply and all persons forced to resign can also claim unfair dismissal or similar...

Sally has cleverly published by default of her sacking, a serious legal opinion that Trumps order is seriously flawed and potentially illegal. The whole world now know about it.
Including all those who continue to uphold Trumps order.
She is an American hero!

And the whole world knows it

Ignorance of the law is no excuse as they say...
She served, as all his cabinet members do, at the pleasure of the POTUS. She could have been removed from office for any reason. But that doesn't make her removal fair or correct.

Trump's first week has been marked by a falling stock market, repeated protests around the US and the globe, a badly bungled executive order, and now a bungled raid in Yemen. What an auspicious opening for the god-king known as The Donald.

"The perception will be that it's not enough to kill al-Awlaki — that the U.S. had to kill the entire family," she said.

If I am not mistaken that is what the POTUS said he would do.. go after the terrorists and their families....

Also the Mosque attack in Canada by alt right supremacist reportedly inspired by Trump killing many sends a clear warning of what is about to come...
The attack in Canada happened shortly after it;s president made an offer to refugees barred from entering the USA as a way of neutralizing Trumps ban.

Soon Trump will have to build a wall between Canada and the USA and add Canada to the ban list...and of course he will lie about who is paying for it...

which is why she could sue the USA government and not Trump for unfair dismissal IMO and set a new precedent. ( urgently needed IMO)

He did say that; so should we be surprised when he does it?

Not at all.. the soldiers are trained to follow commands and rules of engagement... but there is a point when those soldiers have to sleep at night with their shitty conscience.
It appears on the face of it that the rules of engagement have changed and civilians including families are now at risk.
These individual Seals are multi million dollar investments and are far from stupid.
Likely scenario:
The infiltration of the fight zone was seriously botched the whole mission would have been aborted but due to a disabled chopper they had to survive with wounded until exfil could be arranged. For nearly an hour they had to hold their position is my guess, and it is amazing they managed to exfil as they did....
In modern military terms this mission was an unadulterated disaster. IMO

Yeah, I don't see where she has a case against the government. She is required by law to resign. She is a political appointee.

Trump's decision to fire her was stupid. He fired the only official legally capable of signing FISA applications. That's good news if you are a terrorist; bad news if you are an American.

yeah maybe you are correct but it would make one hell of a media show to try....
"AG defends right to defend the constitution" headlines....

we are after all in a world driven by populism... eh? so why not use it...

"....and out of the rubble left by a peaceful revolution will come the next leader of the free world a leader the world desperately needs."

Remember Anders Breivik? Neo Nazi killed 77 in Norway 2011. Unfortunately Trump may inspire many similar events..

youreyes,
You got blue eyes and blonde hair?
Have any Yiddish background?
Any Slavic or Russian blood lines....
Maybe your grandfather was part Afro American...?

Don't understand why I ask these questions?
then please, do not answer.....

USA constitution puts all executive power in president of United States. Executive branch officials like Sally Yates, do not have their own power. They are delegated by president to execute his power. They do not have the power by the law to disagree with the commands. This is direct insubordination.

What you are encouraging is honoring a criminal who went against the USA constitution.

Quantum Quack, you got insubordinative roots in you?
Do not like to follow laws?
Want to be against the government?

Don't answer please.

"Staying on while undermining government policy is not an act of courage. It is an act of sabotage.

And punishment for sabotage? Want to dwell into the laws for that?

As a 6 foot , blue eyed person of clean German heritage I resent your tone... Aryan I am
when you are Aryan, like me, you can write your own laws...as you go... Ad libitum as they say... ( hee hee)

Only problem and shhh don't tell any one... is I don't speak or write German.

"all persons under 6 foot are to stand over there..."

Since when is defending the constitution of the USA breaking a law?
Since Trump came into office ... that's when...

Seriously as a friend and fellow member of sciforums I would suggest that you hide any ethnic diversity you might have and when they call you up for racial profiling be ready to lie your head off...

.

She is executive force and has no say in the laws, it is not her duty. She is an executive branch official and does not have an independent power, her sole role is to exercise president's power. She is the one who went against constitution.

She needs to be put in jail.

Her duty was was to act according to her oath of office. As it is with Trump. The duty to that oath transcends all else.
Her oath of office is what?

Can you quote it here so we know you are on the same page at least if you want to discuss it....

Factually incorrect as usual. It is her job to uphold the constitution - you know that document that Bannon's puppet is wiping his ass with...
