This is a thread specifically for discussion of the bible.

However there are many points when you consider the bible itself.
My perspective, is that the bible is filtered with so many insanities upon insanities, and that there is no possibility that this book could have been even deciphered or whatnot from the .. God. It is impossible. God would never say things that are in this bible, nor would God be so as rediculious as 'everything' we have been told by him to exist.

Now. I am just talking about the bible.
And my position is that it is entirely garbage.

What other sources are there to indicate anything of a God.

Draqon... There is no evidence of a God. The only thing which permits a god is the non matrix... lol. Which has yet to be discovered. The bible is polluted with garbage. It infact is hardley anything "Holy" What-So-Ever...

you need to read it in its entirety to judge it. You would however not be judging the book but the many people who wrote truth conveyed in it. Truth which they sought to die for, for it was their way of life. As time passes as and waves of Era's fall to our feet, so do ideas change ... nothing is eternal. Bible is a book ever changing ...

God is a belief, you either believe or you choose not to. Respect other's beliefs if you want your belief to be respected.

Unfortunately, draqon... I am dead. I am a living dead entity, who has seen the fact that this existence is fordoomed to frustration. That it is nothing but what it is, which is? Perhaps you as well are dead. And if this is so? Where has god given us anything to cherish. Where has he showed us light. Where have the deciples written Gods words? Why did god not speak in the bible? Where is the evidence whatso ever of any God? I do not see it. I do not see any of it.

I respect your belief. It is entirely valid and accurate with the proper dose of beauty.
It is far more valid than everything I am writing...
 
Where is cosmic traveler? Has he not died and seen what it is like to die? Let us compare his testomony with that of those others on that link. I do not believe we will get any relevant truths out of any testomonies.

Until someone bothers to deal with any of that atheism ^^, I am not going to post, but instead giggle myself to ... er..
