For those who believe the Bible does not contain references to astrology, I have a couple reference verses for you:

Job 38:31-32 (King James Version)

31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

Pleiades = a group of stars
Orion = a well known constellation
Mazzaroth = the Hebrew word for ZODIAC
Arcturus = a known star

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades?
How is this Christian content? Doesn't it sound like pagan astrology crap? Sweet influences of the Pleiades? Kinda sounds like the "Pleiades" have been anthropomorphized huh! Think about it!

Loose the Bands? Do Christians view Orion as an anthropomorphized deity too? hmm...

Bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Hey Mazzaroth is the Zodiac! Whoa isn't astrology supposed to be evil? What's it doing in the Bible then? hmm...

or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
his sons? Who is this Arcturus? Should be just another star in the sky yet we have clearly shown that we believe he is a male with sons!

THAT'S RIGHT!! IT'S ASTROLOGY PEOPLE!! GOOD OLD EVIL ASTROLOGY!!

Now ask yourselves this question...

Why are Christians, Jews, and Muslims taught that astrology is evil? Could it be because if they understood astrology they might understand something else? Like their scriptures!

HINT, HINT, BIG F*CKING HINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because astrology doesnt make you get down on your knees and become a servant. The bible is far more USEFUL as a mind control device than an enlightenment device.
 
In this context, it's not astrology, but astronomy. Those were the names of constellations, a feature of the night sky.

It's like saying, can you move a mountain? Can you stop a volcano?

You should not ridicule a document you have not read. That's a little bit willfully ignorant, not to mention extremely biased, don't you think? Read it, god forbid you might learn something.

Mazzaroth is a direct reference to the zodiac. That is astrology, NOT astronomy. Read the doc from the link at the end of my post and see if you still can't find astrology in the Bible. The whole thing is astrological allegory. Medicine*Woman has been trying to tell you people this for years now and you've rejected her message. Nevertheless, she is absolutely correct.

It is not the job of science to destroy religion, it is the job of astrology to do that. The purpose of science is to fill the remaining vacuum of knowledge with truth.
 
Well she's a bit of a nut. The Zodiac was shorthand for astronomical features. It doesn't attribute any special powers to them, especially over God. Criticize the Bible all you want, but at least make it accurate.
