Technical question

I got a new computer, same make as the old one; transferred my bookmarks.
Logged in to the forums I frequent. On two of them, everything is normal. On one other and this one, the screen display is shrunk down to half its usual width and the font size is tiny. Not unusable, but difficult.
Is there some way i can adjust it?

Sounds like you've fixed it, but was it just a zoom-display problem?

If your site and/or text looks too small or too big (OK, first sit closer or further back, but if that doesn't work...) hit Ctrl-0 to return to 100% zoom.

Yes. Between sessions, the setting snapped back to the original setting, because the larger format hadn't been made the default.

I tore a lube oil purifier apart and put it back together twice without knowing how to start it. I mean the parts only fit one way, no big deal. Or was it.
