398] The Ju series (88, 188, 288, 388) were actually medium bombers in some instances converted to 'heavy fighters' or night fighters for use against Allied bombers. Since all were capable of dive bombing, the term Sturzkampfflugzeug - Stuka for short - would technically be an accurate description.
