"At 0800 Hours GMT today, out observation team on Delta was contacted by United Earth Alliance Forces, specifically 3rd Platoon, of 54th Recon of I Corps, under instruction from Brigadier General Zero," Shogun paused to look around the room and then said, "they want us back, and this is what they sent us,"
He typed extremely rapidly for a few seconds and the information of the chip sent to Shogun was displayed on screen.
"They are planning an assault on the capital city of the Black Hole Empire and they sent us the operational plans," Shogun said,
Captain Minamoto then asked,
"Sir, did the United Earth Alliance pardon us and lift the bounty?"
Shogun then said,
"No, we have not received a full pardon and the bounty has doubled since last time, however the Earth Defense Union representatives are pushing for a full pardon, and Brigadier General Zero gave his word to urge the government for a full pardon," he then paused for a second then continued, "however, I don't think that Zero can do much to help in this situation, even though we have the EDU backing us up the Reformist League amongst many others are vehemently demanding that we be captured and extradited, and that our case be given more resources so 'we can quickly be brought to the light of justice'"
Captain Lima then said,
"How many they bribed, threatened or blackmailed into supporting their position, we will never know,"
Commodore Abel then said,
"Sir, how do they expect us to return to the fleet then?" he then looked around the room and then continued, "Do they expect us to fight for them, and then forfeit ourselves afterward?" he then paused to let it sink in and said, "Sir, how can we know we can even trust this Zero, for all we know he could be tasked with our capture!"
Shogun then replied calmly and slowly,
"That is why we are not going back to the fleet, we will remain independent,"
After a period of silence, Captain Baker then said,
"Sir! If we can prove ourselves in battle, that might better our chances of a pardon, they need us, and if we prove we can save the Alliance, they will weaken the resolve against us,"
Shogun then replied,
"We already did prove ourselves in the frontlines, we already saved the Alliance countless times, but it was all ignored, so no we are not going back to the United Earth Alliance," he then paused a bit longer this time and then said, with a slight smile, "we won't rejoin them, we won't go assist in their operation, however we will still fight,"
He then quickly brought up a map of the Black Hole Empire,
"We will attack the Vega system, their military headquarters and main shipyards, it is highly fortified and defended," he then zoomed in, "no Terran ship or probe have ever be able to infiltrate the sector and survive, no Terran ship have ever even been close to the sector, a fleet of 13 capital ships were obliterated, with no survivors, all transmission with them were lost, and they weren't even trying to attack the Vega system at all, their course simply crossed there, they probably have been pulled forcibly from hyperspace, or warp, whatever you want to call it," he then brought up a few documents and images and then said,
"The cover story is natural phenomenon, and it is classified top secret, only for the eyes and ears of those in the highest levels, and ESSCPA Special Operations,"
He the brought up all the legends, their map is extremely detailed for a system such as this.
Captain Minamoto then said, with a smile,
"Sir, you said that no Terran ship have ever infiltrated the sector and survive, where did we get such good intel?"
Shogun then smiled and said,
"We are not technically Terran are we?"
He then zoomed out and used his pointer to point at an asteroid belt of another star system,
"Gentlemen, we have a recon team there, they are close enough to go on little missions, they are our best with out most advanced equipment,"
He then turned to make eye contact with everyone and then said,
"We are the only ones with the intelligence, and capabilities to attack that location, even though it is heavily defended, better then any place in the Terran Alliance have ever been, even Earth during wartime, and nobody else have any idea what is going on there, they don't really expect anyone to attack them there, because there is not apparent reason to, and it is an area with 'dangerous unknown natural phenomenon', so a blow there could cripple their military and with Zero's operation at the exact same time, their military and government will be be overwhelmed and brought to their knees, its near-perfect,"
Captain Minamoto then said,
"Sir, we can't brute force the sector, we don't have the numbers or the firepower, even if we are not going to brute force it, we will need a diversion, we don't have the numbers to do that either,"
Shogun then smiled again and said,
"If we have a diversion, we can successfully infiltrate and cripple the sector quickly and silently, they will be six feet under wondering how they got there, we will be able to take them down with our entire fleet" Shogun then said, "That is why we need help, and we will get it from the Vichi Empire and the EDU,"
Shogun then said,
"Gentlemen, we may be fugitives, but the United Earth Alliance is still our home is it not? Even though we grow up in ESSCPA colonies, and live in exile but our roots...it is our home, where our family and friends are, even if you haven't gotten to know them very well, we also have an obligation to those who are defending us,"
There is murmur of discussion in the room, he then waited a long while for them to quiet down and then said,
"All objections will be noted in my log, if you have any objections state them now,"
After a long while, Minamoto said,
"Sir, not an objection, but a question, will everyone be moving?"
Shogun said,
"Yes, everyone, there is no need to be and stay here,"
He then said,
"No objection to be noted then, gather the fleet, will be will be Oscar Mike in 2 hours, that is plenty of time, we are bringing everything with us, everything, nothing left behind, we will be going to the Vichi Empire to ask for aid, with the SRT and CovertOps in front, followed by everyone else, with the PRT flanking the convoy,"
They all stood up and said,
"Sir, yes sir!"
Shogun returned the salute and then said,
"Get moving,"

umm, shogun, at this point its not an assault. Actually its more of 3-5 man teams on various planets on holian planets.
Basically, your character was invited to join, but mine ran out of time and had to go by himself.
When my character figures out how to cripple the main communications array then the other twelve teams on various planets will blow up planted bombs and the like on space docks and strategic targets.
The idea is to slow down their ability to rebuild their forces.
Also, basically zero set it up that he could sneak you into the active forces of I corps as "normal" soldiers, probably within your own platoon or whatever somewhat independent. And so that nobody outside of I corps would know who you really were.
Basically, your character was invited to join, but mine ran out of time and had to go by himself.

Back in the Holian capital...
I quickly turned and hid my face.
"Uh yah... where's the bathroom?" I said in an odd way, as I feebly hoped she hadn't made the connection.
"You know what" I said turning to her and Jack.
"I should probably just leave" I said as I got up and turned towards the door.
I heard two clicks and turned around and saw both Jack and Aria pointing guns at me.
"So I'm guessing your not glad to see me."
I said, I put both hands on my head.
"So since when did pistols become standard equipment for archaeologists?"
"Since never" Jack said "we bought them ourselves"
"So what now?"
Aria turned around and looked through some drawers and pulled out a roll of duct tape and looked at me with a wicked grin.
I said "Aria, one, I don't do that kind of fetish, and two, your really not my type." and I laughed, even Jack giggled.
Aria turned completely red.
She walked over and started tieing my hands together.
"Oh comeon, can't you let me off with a warning."
"Not after you come in here waiting to kill us." she said
"Kill you? That's idiotic. If I wanted you dead I would have come in my suit. If I wanted you to be dead, you would be dead. I've got bigger fish to fry then you two bozos." I said
"Then why are you here?"
Aria finished with my hands and tossed the tape to jack "your turn" she said
Jack started taping my legs as Aria was pacing around. "Well are you gonna answer or what!" she yelled
"She does that a lot doesn't she?" I asked
Jack looked up and kind of nodded. I kicked him in the face with my knees and got my arms around his neck and stood up holding him hostage.
"Just a tip, when you tie up someones arms you tie them BEHIND their backs." I said
Aria was pointing her gun at me and Jack had since dropped his. "Let him go!" she said
"How about you drop the gun, give me those scissors and I will seriously consider it."
After a minute or two she gave me the scissors and I cut myself free. I grabbed Jack's gun and threw him back. I pointed the gun at them and they had their hands in the air. I walked over and grabbed Aria's gun from the ground, I reset the hammer on both the pistols, put them in my pockets.
"I bid you two good day." I said and started walking over to the door.
"Wait!" Aria said
I stopped
"Why are you here." she said
I turned and looked at her.

He turned and looked at me, that cursed man. He stared at me with a blank stare born from the eye of a hurricane.
"They killed a lot of people. I'm here to repay the favor." He said
"pfft, so what is this, some sort of twisted revenge!?" Jack said
"Jack, you don't get it. I didn't come across the galaxy to the middle of my enemy's base right on his doorstep to get mad, I came all this way to get even."
And then he walked out of the room, Jack seemed relieved, I was terrified.
"We need to follow him."
"What!?" I said

I was walking out the doors and saw those two following me. Not chasing behind me, just cooly following me. I walked onto the sidewalk and after a few blocks found my motorcycle.
I looked back at them as they were just standing fifty feet away. I fished a radio device out of my bag. I put it to my mouth and pulled out an antenna with my teeth.
I held it up high so that Aria and Jack could see it behind me and pulled the trigger.
A tremendous explosion emenated from across the city as a massive ship facility exploded in a horrendous fireball. Even though I was at least 5 miles from the edge of the explosion I could still feel it.
I hopped up on my bike and drove off.

"It looks like some sort of radio or trigger" I said
He pulled it and an explosion rocked the entire city
We turned around in time to see the massive fireball and smoke emenate from the factory district.
"Dear G-d." I heard Jack say.
Well I didn't know, and my character didn't know, besides, it would make it interesting for Zero to pull his hair out wondering what the hell happened and why the Holians tightened security massively and their army is now patrolling the streets of their capital. My people will think there is a war going on and kick their HQ's ass and maybe discover something that is not so pleasant, that the Holian government have been hiding from its people. Things like that cause revolts you know.......
"We only have a basic idea of what happened, the two explosions you heard were high explosive charges going off 5 klicks directly south of the Sector Administration building and the old police station," the man paused for a second then continued, "we don't know the casualties yet, the area effected will be labeled on your maps, if you wish to see them, bring it up on your HUD,"
Pacifist 1 did so, it is good to get as much information as possible, could be the difference between life and death.

Okay, so you'll just assault some forward planet or something? That could work out.
Where is this happening?
We are planning on destroying their military HQ, and major shipyards, all in one sector, and they won't see it coming, they will be wondering what the f*** happened while six feet under. It is extremely heavily fortified, and they devoted a lot of forces to it.
On a colony of the Vichi Empire, Garuda of the Garuda Sector.
"Pacifists, you heard the man!"
"Yes sir! Right away sir!"
They circled the area at high altitude, they can't see anything suspicious, then suddenly a chain of explosions in the previously affected sector. Everyone was stunned, they couldn't see it coming, not from this height. It was a secondary explosion, to wipe out the cops.
"Troopers, REPORT!"
There were shouts for medic and man down......and reports of KIA....
"Yes sir! Right away sir!"
