religious symbol of christianity..

People have all kinds of interpretations of the cross symbol.

Some believe its two lines represent the material and the spiritual...intersecting at the heart.

So, if his life had accured in modern day USA, could the symbol of christianinty be a lethal injection. If so would this hold as much significance as the crusifix does to christian society now?
