I am certainly not little.
Yeah, I noticed.Hey Maz don't put attention to this person it is a blabbermouth, he does not s**t and does not get of the pot.
I see them as very much real beings with their own personalities. That does not preclude them from being forces of nature, both unto themselves and as representations or personifications of natural phenomena.Did you come to the conclusion that these "gods" are real personalities, or do you see them as allegories for the forces of nature?
Accepted? By what? For whom? When did I say anything about doing it to gain acceptance? So you're saying there was not just one thing that caused the change, you just wanted to be accepted.
If I would put it to anything, it's the direct experience of the gods in ritual practice, seeing or feeling them vividly. That is what mystical experiences are about---and I hope this answers another question put forth between now and my previous post, which was asking me to define mystical experiences. What convinced you that theism was correct?
I was born into it. but at some point through my study I started to question . but as I looked more into chemistry and biology ,and my experience in my relation with God my faith was reinforced
I am certainly not little.
Sticks and stones may break my bones... and you still haven't answered my question. What do you mean by "material"?Intellectually you are. Maturity-wise, you most certainly are.
Mazulu,
Please stop polluting this thread with your insults.
Read the opening post and tell us about your religious conversion experience, if you had one. If not, then please stay out of this thread. It has a topic. You can start your own "Let's insult each other over our religious differences" thread if you like, or use one of the many other such threads that are already being used for that purpose.
Why don't you take this forum and shove it up your ass! Go ahead and ban me permanently. I don't care what you think you know about science or logic. You are all bad people and I wish to be separated from you forever.

As I was saying it appears you are affected by the "trolling" as you call it, only when it is against the atheists, because it affects you. But I am offended by remarks just as offensive when they are made against religious people in general.Only if one does not consider Mazulu's trolling and flaming and derogatory generalisations about all atheists to be insulting of course..
Robbitybob, if you have a complaint to make about someone's post, then please use the report function. Please do not pepper threads with what you are currently peppering them with.
There is a thread topic. Please discuss that.

Mazulu said:Arauca, it's not their fault that they have no heart and no soul. Atheists are lifeless lumps that think that asking questions is hard work. They don't care about religious experience because nothing is sacred to them. They are the soulless robots that they hope to invent. Atheists are lifeless globs of cells, they are philosophical zombies. They are to be pitied.
Apparently reading isn't your strong suit.
That is a general insult. It is not personal.
"Atheists are liars."
"Balerion is a liar." Which one was the personal insult?
I'm sorry did I misunderstand, I thought you implied that from your previous post. I.E. "I'd always had an interest in ancient mythology and during High School I found out that people today were practising the revival of polytheism, which I thought was pretty nifty." and "It just kinda felt like "coming home", if anything."Hapsberg said:Accepted? Could you possibly be more specific, because what you are saying is intangible to us. What direct experiences? From whence did they come? How do you feel or see them vividly? Did you do anything to invoke these experiences? Or what do you think could have happened to invoke them?hapsberg said:If I would put it to anything, it's the direct experience of the gods in ritual practice, seeing or feeling them vividly. I'll look into the law before taking legal action against you. Defamation of my character will not be taken lightly. He was talking about us, the people in this thread. That's personal.
