Well, Intent Poet, I think that while, indeed, poetic, your credo lacks a few clarifying words for me to be able to agree with you. As others have pointed out, death of ego, prejudices, programming, etc., would free a person to more fully live, but, as stated ["to truly live you must first die"] strikes me as absurd. One of those psuedo-intellectual lines from the 60's.
