Wow. Is it even possible for a five year old girl's ovaries to manifest and produce eggs at such a young age? And who would dare to be the father?

Yes, it is very likely that she probably became pregnant swimming in a pool in which some men ejaculated in.

that's so sad... if it's true i think that the father should be shot for having violated a child like that. that's just disgusting. i'm sorry, but if you're that in need of getting laid....dont' bring a child into such matters...

ive heard of a case about a 6-year old girl bieng molested by his father just because he and his wife had not made an intercourse for years, but i cant believe one actually got pregnant at that age!

I'm not sure what you're suggesting by the red parts. Ticrapo exists (I found it in a list of Andean flora and fauna locations). Furthermore, when snopes say that the legend is in fact true, you'd better believe it! They research extensively and in this case found valid and verifiable sources for the story.

5 years is hardly the youngest a child has ever been subjected to sexual advances.

What is quite surprising is that this was before the second world war, which pretty much precludes her premature development being anything to do with pollution, particularly in the remote area she lived in. As the doctor suggested it was probably a genetic pituitary defect.
 
i don't thinkt hat it was more or less the surprise or disgust at the sexual advances at such a young age, i mean children and babies are molested all the time, it's just a shock that it actually happened. that the child was able to give birth to another child, and that it actually lived past infancy. also, the fact that the mother had no mental problems after the birth. that's seriously something to be shocked about.
 
it is pretty weird that a 5 year has been menstruating since she was 3!!! And now pregnant? Veeery strange. What are they feeding her?
