haha precisely! I'm arguing semantics I guess, just annoying when people say 'most' when their view is in reality VERY limited. Some posters just like to make out they are an expert in every topic, but alleging to being expert on porn, while at the same time alleging not to watch it?

I disagree. Most real porn stars are very beautiful women. But because of new technology and the new fungibility of jobs and tasks, nearly anyone can be a porn star if they want. Combine that with the new reality craze that has swept the nation/world and you have a lot of average-looking people, average sized tits, average sized cocks, average fucking in a lot of films these days. A lot of porn has turned into reality porn.

I like porn. I find it seuxally arousing and also intellectually stimulating at times. While masturbating, I may find myself lost in thought about the implications of Internet porn, how many people look at it, how widespread and pervasive it is, and the messages it contains about women and their relationship to men. I personally tend to think that porn indeed reveal a lot of truth about humans and men and women that normal polite society must not.

Other societies like Japan's, for example are not reticent at all about showing and revealing these truths. Prostitution is legal there. They have high class escorts, known as geisha, whom are also whores at times and get this, they're not looked down upon. In fact, they're esteemed greatly because they're using their maximum utility possible. And the sole purpose of their existence is to entertain men and fuck them if they pay them enough money or become engaged in a relationship with a man -- a danna -- kind of like marriage, except there's no family, just entertainment and intimacy for the man in exchange that the man pay her bills and housing and whatnot. The man can have a normal regular wife along with a geisha, if he can afford it.

Our society along with its customs and traditions, especially dealing with women is permeated with prostitution, but it's somewhat clouded and obfuscated. I find that porn clears things up.

btw, prostitution's legal here (Amsterdam) but that doesn't stop it from being wrong in my eyes.

The girls you see in the windows typically aren't Dutch - someone's making a profit out of them. Someone's exploiting them!

And that's what I find wrong with porn...

Even if some people are in it for the exhibition side, I would imagine that the vast majority of 'pornstars' are being exploited by someone else.

well you could say this about just about everything and it's just as irrelevant

example, waitresses, exploited via low eages, long hours, poor working conditions etc

if porn stars are doing it to consentually and not doing it to feed drug habit or other addiction then they are entitled to do so and if being exploited are consentually so. However as porn 'STARS' are paid exceptionally well, they
are not being expoited are they? Maybe you could elaborate on how it is the 'stars' are being expoited...(forget the porn wanabee's you mentioned pornSTARS).

This example relates to wanabee models being exploited not wanabee porn stars...please provide your examples of wanabee pornstars being exploited.

You can't ask whether I agree with your position on this when you have not demonstrated your position.

Strange. I feel a bit exploited by pornography, it is true, but if there was a period when it may have been seen to be damaging, there was also enlightenment about myself and others. Maybe what was damaged was an unreal worldview.

I have a >10 Gig porn archive. I have a delve every once in a while, but it's mostly accessed by ppl connecting to my machine. My gf doesn't really like porn - she always busts me when my recently view docs are not cleared!

On the uni WASTE network, I had logs of everyone who'd accessed my library. It was so funny, 80% of people on the network had accessed at some point if not frequently.
