Warnings about the extremist-Islamic musings of an army psychiatrist now charged with killing 13 and wounding dozens at Ft. Hood evidently fell on deaf ears. The reasons for this center on the doctor’s free-speech and religious rights and, in a weird twist, the army's expressed desire to promote "diversity" within its ranks — diversity that still doesn’t include sexual orientation.
