No, I'm pretty sure Pepsi One uses artificial sweeteners in lieu of high-calorie REAL sugar. Of course to get that nice-sounding ring, they still have to leave 1 calorie there... hmm...
Check the calories on a Pepsi Max, I think our nation has been deprived of them. Actually, I think Pepsi One and Pepsi Max are one and the same, just marketed under different names, one to appeal to a population very much concerned with weight loss but getting nowhere, and a world with minimal weight problems only concerned with taste. For an international corporation like Pepsi, it would be a shame to have a product that only sold well in the US and our Italian neighbours to the North (Italy comes in before the US in weight problems), so they just have to make something to sell to those Canadians on the other side of the Atlantic and their Japanese, Bhutanese, Egyptian, and Brazilian neighbours.
