OPINION : New COVID-19 restrictions will be needed for anti-vaxxers

fixed it for you
call it what you like... your choice!

May be the herd can get them to pay for their necessary medical and needs support by forced labor as well...?
Salt mines sound promising... Salt being a natural "cleaner"....

Just a matter of choice hey?

btw quarantine camps have happened before and will happen again...

The herd has to respect your decision to isolate yourselves from the herd.

they are an ongoing threat to the herd.

herding back to the science
...
and ignoring the vast sums of money that are now on the table for private companys for vaccines all paid by the government without negotiation or price comparison(what price is to much to re start the economy none really but somewhere there is probably a point to be discussed which is a bit of irony when lifes and the economy has been set up for a suicide economic bomber by not locking down properly the 1st time)

if people know it is not their or their neighbors house on fire they are less likely to pull over as fast and let the fire truck get through
though most people are not looking out for the fire truck to let it though faster so they can save more lifes

im a little distracted
back to my main point about herd immunity and its realativenes to the over all process of effectiveness verses a vaccine application for individual immunity and collective immunity to the virus
im loosing track something is annoying me

... saving lifes ...
herd immunity debate may be mute if the anti bodies only last for 3 months
i doubt governments & the super rich will move fast enough to be able to have that much vaccine on the front line to create herd immunity as an over all cover
it is likely to play out as a flowering random patch work effect of direct immunization immunity with social distancing being the primary herd barrier.

however someone with a bit of power and money can track n trace the track n tracing to install a time line to back trace the infection contact tracing to gauge a time relationship to an effective time line

something is still annoying me and distracting me
im leaving it there before i decide to delete my post

)-(erd immunity may be impossible with COVID_19

but that potential unknown fact should have no baring on the forced vaccination of babys and children

amen
and
what percentage should be vaccinated to create herd immunity?

..................
we are united in our ignorance
welcome aboard
That depends on the R factor for the disease in question. The more infectious it is, the higher the proportion of the population needed to reach herd immunity. Estimates for the current virus vary a lot but figures I’ve seen suggest 70-80% may be needed. Even with a lower proportion, the contribution vaccination can make to reducing R can make fewer other measures needed to keep R below 1. So for example it makes it easier to allow schools and restaurants to open, even if we still need to wear masks on public transport etc.

If immunity only lasts a short time that number may be even higher - if we can reach herd immunity at all.

Ive never seen one that wants that
I've seen several suggestions on Facebook to do just that. "Well if you think vaccines are so safe then why don't YOU get them! If what you claim is correct, then that will save us all anyway."

Vaccines could help with covid-19 , but this virus changes in strange ways ; for example your immunity , once you have had it , could weaken over time . Now that is strange . Never have I heard of this , before .

Never heard of it before? Really? Why do you think we get a new flu vaccine each year?

Influenza evolves into something different , but covid-19 does something different , it breaks down the walls of the immune system , for some . It over powers the immune system . Given time .

Really? You've never heard of booster shots?

malaria

but you cant catch malaria again once you already have it
unlike covid 19 which you can just keep catching every 4 months or so

your arguing the letter of the statement rather than the spirit. they don't actually want you to get vaccinated, they still moronicly think they are bad.

why do anti vaxers get so much press ?
are they rich & white and having sex on video or something similar ?
or is it just the fear they sell by parading their children around using them as punching bags for moral outrage scare tactics

do any of them study science ?(i don't mean christian science)

are they selling hysterics to the hysterical ?

are most of the key figures selling wellness products and so, are doing so to create their own market ?

Some anti-vaxxers want everyone ELSE to be vaccinated so they get the protection without having to deal with needles and whatnot.
a bit like the anti maskers wanting every one else to wear a mask to protect their right to not wear one...
"Social distancing and masks etc could be seen as a form of collective vaccination..." ~IdeasRus
