Having the best or better genes would depend on too many variables. Its like saying a hammer is better than a crowbar.
Now let's all imagine that hitler won the war and we are a race of blonde haired blue eyed people fighting a war to suppress the attached earlobe people who are not as superior as the unattached earlobe people. You can quickly see where that goes.
Now let's imagine we are in a perfect world of clones generated by the best DNA possible if there really is such a thing. How depressed can we be to find our lover unattractive? Now doomed to a lifetime of unattractive partners.
Now let's imagine being in the real world and finding science and the discoveries of our human DNA fascinating.
My only question... what race am I? I am told to check the box that says caucasion/non-hispanic. Funny, I find no country called Caucasia or Republic of non-hipanics. I choose "other". I am what happens when you take millions of humans have have them breed for ions. Somewhere in the blender of genes I emerge and having the knowledge that our DNA is so complex I am to accept being classified by the gene that determined the pigment of my exterior wrap? That's like saying a limo and a volkswagon are the same because they are painted blue. Really? Why are you fat if we are the same race? I'm sorry but my teeth dont have a gap like your's, we can't possibly be from the same tribe.
It's all nonsense.
So why do we make such a big deal over it? Aside from our ability to see... I would have to say that everyone is looking for a reason to feel good about themselves. Some people who suffer from low self-esteem and ignorance choose to do so by dividing other people into categories that they can then use as a basis for self worship. They lower others in order to raise themselves.
Unless you are bulletproof, flame retardant, and have the ability to breathe water while never having to eat, sadly you are just like every other human.
Pride and freedom; That should never be confused with privilege. While you have the right to feel proud of yourself, your family, your culture, and your beliefs and have the freedom to profess them, you never have the right to elevate yourself to a position to take the right of another away.
If you can't handle that, stare at a light until you go blind. You'll be much better for it.
