Nikola Tesla's Earthquake Machine

The man was ahead of his time. Westinghouse stole his electric motor, and the government stole the rest, before they blew up what was left of the lab.

Yes, he was ahead of his time and George Westinghouse stole a lot more than than just his AC motor.

But the rest is just fable - there were no 'super-secrets' for the government to steal. They operated on rumor and hearsay just as governments do today.

Well Telsa written work remained top secret untill just two years ago, and still the US goverment refuses to release certain document of his work.

In all that time his possesions where with held from his family, the release of some of his work was take back to his home country to be put in a muesum.

OK, you've stuck your foot in your big mouth by making those claims. Now let's see you PROVE that they are true!!!!!

Well it looks like this myth is busted. They were able to make the bridge vibrate but other than that it didn't build enough to actually do anything like destroy it. Now perhaps a larger model would but not the hand-held one that Tesla has described.

Exactly. Tesla toyed with many of his inventions but put very, very few of them to the real test. There's truth in the reasonace approach he took, such as breaking a drinking glass with sound waves.

But what Tesla, and many of these semi-educated "Tesla fan(natics)" failed to realize is that SCALE also comes into the equation. While it doesn't require a lot of energy to break a thin drinking glass, it takes a tremendous amount to crack a sheet of glass three inches thick.

"Split the world"? NO way!
