I LOVE this haircut. I love that it's kinda mullety. Also, I am aware it's a female in the picture, but I've seen a few guys with this kind of hair, and I rate it
OK...You say you love this haircut...
Would you ever sport this yourself?..:bugeye:
I actually was going to get my hair done like this, but I don't have the bone structure or face shape to pull it off. I do like doing crazy things with my hair though. At the moment I have a bit of a mullet with a straight fringe.
So, you could see yourself sporting this look?....Really?
I was totally into punk back in the day...But, I couldn't imagine going outside sporting this look..LOL
Sorry, no offense intended..
Haha none taken
I just love doing different things with my hair. At one time, I had 8 different colours in my hair, and the back was really spikey with long side bits and a straight fringe. I had natural red, bright red, blonde, brown, black, purple, blue and green all at once. So I don't think the hairdo in that pic is that extreme haha
8 different colors??? How long ago was that?
You'd have fit in nicely back in the 80's
That's when I was really into the punk scene..(Yeah, I'm old)

That was about 5 months ago. I was working in a child care centre at the time, and all the kids just stared at me after I got it done. Then, with the brilliant honesty of 3 year olds, decided to tell me they hated it haha.
I'm not punk, I'm more into hardcore/metalcore, but I do like punk style and music.
Out of the mouths of babes eh? LOL
I believe in being unique...(and 8 colors definitely qualifies) I'm just saying I couldn't get away with that look.
But, kudos to you for having the guts to try..
Gotta ask..What exactly is metalcore? Again, I'm old.
Copy and Pasted, because I'm lazy
Metalcore is a fusion genre combining various elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. The name of it is a portmanteau of the names of the two genres. The term took on its current meaning in the mid-1990s, describing bands such as Earth Crisis, Deadguy and Integrity. The earliest of these groups, Integrity, began performing in 1988; some modern practitioners of the genre include Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying and The Devil Wears Prada. Metalcore is distinguished from other punk metal fusions by its emphasis on breakdowns: slower, intense passages conducive to moshing. The genre has had a saturation of bands in the last five years. Sepultura has been credited to "lay the foundation" for the genre.
Man, do I feel old now...I don't know any of those bands..
I have to get out more..
Actually, Sepultura sounds vaguely familiar.
Sepultura have been around for a while. I'm more into Australian hardcore and metalcore, we have some great bands down here, and I like to do my bit to make sure the scene doesn't die. I like bands like Parkway Drive, Deez Nuts, I Killed The Prom Queen, Carpathian, and Confession. Check them out sometime, I think you'd like them.

I'm from Oz and i've never heard of those bands...
Do you listen to hardcore/metalcore? They're not really played on the radio or anything, Triple J sometimes.
no, i've never got into hardcore/metalcore..
i listen to just about anything...but i can't handle angry, screaming kind of music..
i'm assuming that's what hardcore/metalcore is????
it's good to see you supporting Aussie bands though!!
my support for the Aussies goes to Birds of Tokyo or Empire of the Sun..
Angry, screaming music, basically yes haha.
Empire of the sun are pretty good. My favourite Australian bands though, after Parkway Drive, would have to be John Butler Trio and Blue King Brown. Quite a change from the metalcore, but amazing nonetheless.
