No, you're bigoted against someone who tried to earn money to feed their family by being a flunky guard, merely because they happen to belong to the SS. That's the logic fallacy of 'guilt by association'.

My Polish ancestors have first hand experience regarding Nazi oppression and brutality. Yet I'm hardly going to fault some kid for merely fighting for his country, and getting his legs amputated in the process.

If the guy is wanted as a war criminal, then he should pay the price. If he was just a member of the SS, then that don't mean jack shit.
