Mothers milk

I vaguely recall some issue adults have paid some mothers who produced milk to be nourished in order to obtain some valuable natural chemicals ?
I am sure they have. People have paid for any number of things thinking they contain "valuable natural chemicals."

Breast milk has lots of constituents that aren't fully duplicated in formula milk. Human milk is specifically tailored to human babies. Cows' milk, not so much.

The mother of my sons joined the la leche league. At one of their picnics I saw a (6 yr old?)girl run up to her mom who promptly produced a breast. A few quick sucks and the girl ran off to continue to play with the other children.
I think the child got more of a psychological boost(comfort) from the breast than a nutritional one.

When you are single, you don't understand the bonding that breastfeeding entails (comfort especially for child) so it can be viewed contemptibly or even disgusting when they are older but when you become a mother you understand but still 6 years old is a bit overtime to wean them off completely. They should be weaned before first grade for sure. You can just give hugs, kisses and interact with your kids to give them comfort and emotional support.

When a child is young, it is also often emotionally healthy for them to sleep with the parents, especially infants and children will often not want their own bed and bedroom until they hit about 6-8 years old. Six is still on the cusp of being a baby transitioning to a child so some may still need/want to be close to mommy and daddy.

But to a mother who loves their child, no matter how old it gets, it will always be their 'baby' and will see them as such, remembering from infancy and it was just them together in that bond.

Camel's milk?
I'm sure you can find an article that lists the various species of milk that humans have fed their children over the millennia--complete with their nutritional components.

Oddly, the only mammalian species in the entire continent of South America that produces milk in any significant quantity is the llama. And "significant" is an exaggeration. It's a miracle that their own calves survive; there's nothing left to feed the humans.

Llamas are closely related to camels, but camels produce quite a bit more milk. Of course, then you've got to be brave enough to milk them!

I do not know Xelasnave. I cannot remember being breast-fed. My earliest memory is being born. As I arrived I could hear my mother breathing heavily. The Doctor sounded disappointed when I entered the world: "It's a boy." :)

Are you some Bs artist ?

Hey Timojin. No I'm not lying. I can remember being born. :)

As for Leibfraumilch tasting horrible, I agree. I used to drink wine, now I cannot without vomiting. I vote for the Guinness. Eight cans every night. Nine to five are office hours. I'm working. After that I'm free. :D

The German wine, "Liebfraumilch" actually means, "Love Mother's milk." :) ...if anyone's interested.

No it doesn't in fact. The name comes from the Liebfrauenkirche in Worms, and the name Liebfrau is shortened from Liebenfrau referring to the Beloved Virgin Mary.

And it's terrible wine.

My memory goes as far when my mother held me in her arms and some caravan or people were passing by. then my next memory was when we were ( parents ) running away from Russian invasion about 1939 -1940 to Germany in winter time and my grandfather was taken us to a train station on sleds with horses and the sled went into a banck and tipt over.
