I gave it some thought, and I would have to agree. I am not sure he could handle a work place environment. It seems he is very disassociated from reality and suffering from a form of dementia. Just the mere fact that he claims that the "disability" he was clearly diagnosed with does not exist should be a pretty clear indicator that there is some sort of a problem.

And this should really be a lesson in wisdom to us all here at Sciforums in maturity. We could learn a lot about compassion, and, in the end, understanding I think. By the grace of chance and fates does the stress of modern life keep any one of the brilliant minds here from speaking and writing in alternatively thought provoking snippets, and then, infuriatingly mindless rambling and needlessly combative and contradictory statements.

Unless they are institutionalized, sure. But there are many other forms of mental illness then just "paranoid schizophrenics." We tend to lump all types of dementia and dissociative personality disorders together. Not all are necessarily caused by the same chemical imbalance, or indeed, a "chemical" imbalance at all.

Some can be a genetic degenerative, who knows what else? :shrug:

Perhaps he should be institutionalized as he's constantly talking about people that 'need to die'. He might actually be a danger to himself or others.

Come now. We tell each other things like this over the net all the time. He is obviously not so incapacitated as to need being institutionalized and most people who suffer from these kinds of disabilities do not need institutionalization. Tnerb is just looking for some company and interaction.

You don't find his threads, in which he talks about people that need to die, disturbing ? Especially coupled with his mental condition ?
If he's looking for company he should do that in the real world, and he should take a good hard look at himself first.
Perhaps he should have someone sit beside him, when he's posting, to guide him ?

Company and interaction- when all I get is critcism and abuse- most likly it will continue and then agan, most likly it will always continue.

No, no more disturbing than any other poster. The internet has a culture of using this kind of language so I am not surprised that Tnerb would use such phrases. It may be shocking to you but most people with mental disorders and illnesses are not violent at all simply vulnerable, they are more likely to be the victims of violence.

As for the last part we could say that about 60% of the posters here on sciforums.
