Buddhism seems better suited, or rather the concept seems plausible to a small village. How does it account for explosive population growth? Because i dont see how it can.
I assumed that this was because some humans are souls from other animals, some humans were Gods themselves and reverted to becoming human again and some humans die and become gods or become other animals.
