I get it that your post was a joke, but if you're going to reference other members like this, it's a good idea to get your facts right.

Axocanth literally asked to be banned.
Quant has, so far, received not a single official warning and has posted nothing that would warrant any kind of ban.
As for Magical Realist, he's back to trying to push his luck again. If that continues, things won't go well for him.

I honestly did not intend any reference to facts, real or imagined.

I had no idea he was banned at all (or maybe i forgot. I thought hed just banished himself from one thread). He has been on Ignore and I have not seen a post from him in weeks. I honestly assumed he was still out there banging around where we do not cross paths.

No, I was referring to Quant, himself, making anticipatory references to getting banned, more than once.

(I was actually going to point out to him that his fears are unfounded - no one (except holocaust deniers) gets banned on SciFo for having opinions about stuff or expressing them. He's crossed no line in my eyes.)

Something I also didn't know, as weeks ago I made good on my commitment to put him on Ignore, to give the dust a chance to settle.


My entire message was simply that - even in an absence of any subsequent events - those members have reason to worry about banishment, and might conceivably consider planning for it. In my view.


I guess if I'm gonna try to be witty, it behooves me to keep in touch with events, lest I put my foot in my mouth.
