Little baby turtle, Timmy, had matured enough to use his claws (finger nails) and did so. In about an hour he had climbed up a small tree to the first branch and out on to it. Then he intentionally hurled himself out into space, and less than 1/3 of a second, banged in to the ground.
After about 10 minutes he had recovered enough to begin climbing up it again only to repeat the same impact with the ground.
Then Mrs. Robin, who had been watching, said to her mate, Robin Red Breast: "Don't you think it is time we told Timmy he was adopted?"
