biscuits: 5 cups self rising flour, 2 cups buttermilk--stir--roll out and fold dust(with flour) fold dust fold dust fold dust fold dust then cut biscuits, cook at 475 degrees for 15 minutes.
gravy: 4 oz butter & 4 oz flour salt, pepper, etc... and worcestershire sauce stir till combined then add 2 cups milk and 10 oz of finely chopped top round---heat and stir to desired thickness
pour gravy over hot biscuits

Okay, this one is a little long but life really doesn't fit in between commercials. Bail now if you're the impatient type.

When I was a young swabbie I volunteered for a boat team that support special operations. (No details on that, sorry.) We training in the Florida Glades then flew to S.E.A.

There was an old Navy saying about bad things that went "What are they going to do, take away my birthday?" During the Sixties it evolved to "What are they going to do, take away my birthday and send me to Vietnam?"

We flew out of SeaTac heading east, to land in Hong Kong eventually. The flight crossed the International Date Line and the air crew announced that we should set our watched ahead 12 hours

Cook up and break up a pound of hot sausage and garnish the biscuits to taste.
