5.

4. Unitarian Universalism (94%)
5. Neo-Pagan (92%)

8. Taoism (78%)

It's funny, I realy don't known what are 1. & 2. I'm afraid this test is not objective at all.

Of all religions I am closer to Buddhism and in previous three tests I've got adequate results. ;)

what in the hell is a liberal quaker??

I bet you chose that Satan does not cause suffering and your other answers leaned towards personal respinsibilty in one's actions.

That is two fundamental precepts of Liberal Quakers.

"Liberal Quakers"...
Just saying it makes me laugh.
Say it out loud.
Try it.
"Liberal Quakers".
hehe

I picture a guy dressed up like the Quaker Oats guy, but with his tie undone.

The women folk pointing whispering as you walk by, "**GASP**he is one of those rebellious new "LIBERAL" Quakers. Jeb told me that he actually heard him CUSS once!!!"

Quakers?

First off, the results; I neglected to take this back when the current topic started:
1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Secular Humanism (85%)
3. Liberal Quakers (83%)
4. Neo-Pagan (83%)
5. Theravada Buddhism (83%)
It's worth mentioning that the next one on the list was Mahayana Buddhism. I almost wish T1 were here on the day that I score 100% for UU, 50% for Reform Judaism, and a mere 17% for Catholicism .... (Note for those who have no idea what I'm talking about ... never mind. Someone used to insist I was Catholic.)

Incidentally, insofar as Christians are concerned, "Liberal" Quakers are about the only sect that doesn't bug me. I wish I'd know what I was seeing when I saw it. If I had, it certainly wouldn't have returned me to Christ's flock, but it might have deflected a number of conflicts that took me years to resolve about conscience and prejudice in the relgious context. In fact, a former Quaker I know would probably be rather amused if I told her I scored 100% on the Belief-o-matic for her current church of choice, UU.

Oh, and liberal Quakers generally dress like everyone else, except they generally don't stoop to Old Navy.

My favorite Quaker quote; I was unfortunate enough to be dragged to a Carman concert with a friend's Baptist youth group, whereupon she ran into her former and current (don't ask) Quaker youth group. As we were standing in the fine Tacoma rain, the Quaker said, "I can't wait to get out there and shake it."

One of the Baptists replied, in a friendly manner, "I thought Quakers didn't dance."

She grinned the closest thing I've ever seen to a wicked grin on a Quaker: "Quakers don't dance. We rhythm."

What the heck? Good enough for me.

Check out a Society of Friends meeting hall sometime. The people are amazing. It's a little difficult to describe the actual religious service; it looks vaguely Protestant, but it's not nearly so pretentious.

A couple of years ago I met a girl at work. I didn't know she was Quaker until ... well, socialization is a bit interesting. I met her parents, and also her fiancee's parents that night (the latter being a Catholic apostasy). But yeah ... that particular day was kind of like being in high school all over again.

:m:,
Tiassa

Those questions where phrased kind of awkwardly imho. In some cercumstances none of the choices were suitable, and in some multiple choices where. I wouldn't have minded so much if two christian religions where in my top 3 though. Wierd how small the increments are for me though, it's like a staircase.

1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (99%)
3. Liberal Quakers (86%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (80%)

I am glad to see that there are so many Humanists out there.
i also think that this quiz is a little off in its answers though, (making reference to the Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants scoring, i mean i would have to be a very liberal protestant with some of the answers i gave).:)
