Is the College Debt Bubble Ready to Explode?

Depends on the context. In the general public consciousness, maybe not. Within the fields of science and engineering, UC Berkeley has substantially more "umph" than an Ivy League school. When a scientist or engineer tells you he went to an Ivy, the first question that springs to mind is "Were you not good enough to get into MIT, or what?"

Being a Californian, I can't even name all the Ivy League Schools, but even in Pasadena (the home of CalTech) Princeton is famous for its science programs.
