This whole discussion is ridiculous. I doubt there is a single parent that never said, around Christmas time. You better be good Santa is coming soon...or something along those lines.
What about the Easter Bunny? another imaginary being. People who think they would never introduce imaginary characters in their young children's lives are taking away a big part of childhood in my opinion. I miss the days that I would hide Easter eggs and pretend the Easter bunny came. I wouldn't let my kids miss out on all those good, exciting times.
As far as threatening to go to heaven or hell, I don't and never would do that.
We aren't religious though, so we rarely ever talk about such things. I don't think
they believe in either.
