So all these conversion stories don't really give any indication of the # of muslims. As we know everyone whose family was muslim at one time is counted as being muslim unless they publicly come out and apostacize, not a wise move in most of the muslim world

Apparently in Algeria more and more people are turning away from islam in reaction to the terror that the islamists have perpetrated in allahs name. Many of these people are Karbilya of whom there are around 1 million in France all of whom muslims count as french muslims, are they really.

Well, to be nitpicky ...

How would you know that Islam is the fastEST disintegrating religion in the world? You would need to find statistics for nearly every religion in the world to be able to claim that. Who knows, there might be small-scale local religions that are dying out, or maybe one of the other major religions might be quietly losing followers.

Comparison of numbers needed before upgrading the status of this thread above 'Rambling'.

in Christian countries, Islam is gaining influence
in Muslim countries, Islam is losing influence
its probably not gaining or losing many members, its just that all countries are becoming more multicultural
 
Could it be the numbers are simply a reflection of Muslims leaving those states controlled by Muslim fundamentalists and are moving to free countries?
 
Almost non-stop, people repeat the phrase "islam is the fastest growing religion" in the world, in the US, in the West, etc...
I have found sites that refute that declaration; by pagans, Christians, ex-muslims, etc...

Its very difficult to prove any religion is growing fastest in the world, theres so many countrys and so many relgions and you'd need to take all of them into account, as far as i was aware more people are becoming athiest than anything else and not going to church or anything.

I am not expecting anything from you, I am not asking you to convert to islam, I am NOT pushing Islam down your throat as the pathetic christians do...if you show respect to Islam, you will have my unreserved respect, the reason I spent all this time posting the above links is to expose those pathetic christians who lie continuesly in order to defame Islam.
