Yes but I have covered that already. Compared with making the equipment (frequency receptors in this case) making a few extra neural connections in the brain to deal with and interpret these extra signals would be very cheap indeed.
Believe me, if we were able to modify the human eye so that it would send signals for some other wavelengths, it would not take longfor the brain to adapt and interpret this information.
