I believe its possible for this theory to be correct. Other do not. There is no use debating a theory if we cannot ultimately prove it as truth or false. Again, its like trying to debate God.... useless.

But what does the theory mean in practical terms? That it's possible that the entirety of our observable universe can really be just an atom in something even bigger?

I like the Gaia idea, although I don't think the planet is really working like that. It's still cool to think of the planet as alive...
