So Draqon, why Mars ?

I has to do with "purpose of life"

You see...about 7 years ago, I had the worst life imaginable...to the point that I wanted to commit suicide. But I was going to do it, I logically came to conclusion that if I will die...I will most likely kill myself in future life too...and again and again...But since I was in "Epcot" in Disney World I went to the space attraction and fell in love with space, so I decided to have my life goal to be in space, and then I saw Mars...planet Mars...

so there it was.

But why Mars ? Mars is virtually uninhabitable.. why don't you set your goals on finding an Earth-like planet ?

because I purposely chose a very hard, extremely hard, but yet still attainable goal.

I decided not to commit suicide by setting myself a goal I thought I could not be able to attend yet still strive to attain it...do you understand now?

You are the one who just said you were going to hang out with Orleander and Sam. You are setting up your own torture.

Yea.. that was stupid.
Then again I can get along with most people in real life.
Orleander has her good moments too :D

I think so.. but why do you choose to be inflexible ? It's your life, take the path with the best prospects.

Well I will tell you this. My best friend works at the hospital and tells me all kinds of horror stories about mostly young men who have tried to commit suicide and failed. Their moms come in to push them around in wheelchairs that they will never get out of again. One of them has no legs because he layed down infront of a train but survived. Parents have come home to find others hanging from the beams in the basement, but still alive. All of these young men regret what they did, now really have to live through a hell of a life and also a burden on their parents and families.

Nothing is worth killing yourself over. You forget the hell you are leaving behind with grieving parents and sibliings.

Want to hear some stories about the homosexuals mostly gay men who come into the hospital? lol

hmmm not really. Here is one that made me go
A guy came into the emergency at about 3 am in the morning. He put a regular light bulb up his butt and it broke. OMG that must have been painful isnt the word. It took them hours to get all the little shards of glass out. How stupid could you be.....omg

I told her that I rather die then have to go through that embarrassment, can you imagine?

ummm...my first response was "eww"

my second response was "eeeewww"

and my third response was "eeeeeeeeeeewwwwww"

Wtf ? :bugeye:
How stupid can a human get..

I know eh... She said that all the nurses and the Dr were laughing about the whole thing afterwards. Then he was known as that guy in room (?) who shoved the lightbulb up his ass.

so if I am correct...guys who screw in lighbulbs in their asses is a sort of thing that turns on the girls?

A couple weeks ago they released a man from the pysiciatric ward. He signed out and left the hospital. When he left he made his way up to the top of the parking deck about 6 stories up. He jumped off and landed almost right in front of the hospitals main entrance where vistors and patients come.

I guess he wasn't cured.
