i.e. it did not reflect reality (of scientific inquiry). i.e. it is sensationalized.

Well, I'm glad we're in agreement.
If one is looking for good science, television shows are the last place one should look for it.

I have distorted nothing. To what do you refer?

No reputable scientific body has said endorsed the show.
The one body that had anything to way about it said it is contributing to the public's lack of understanding of the methods of scientific inquiry.

So yeah. Get your science elsewhere. Save "reality" TV for entertainment.

You're right. CSISP is not a scientific body.

It is a paranormal investigations body. It should be supporting the producers of the TV show, since they're into the same things.
So, yes, even the show's own paranormal proponents are criticizing the show for its misrepresentation.

There is no indication they were involved in the show at all, let alone their standards.
Just their case files.
