Any country with a brain will back america and stay on its good side.
Thats all this is, make that was.... why are you talking about this now?
Blair looked at the situation, thought about it and came to the conclusion "america will win" and so backed america. Pretty obvious choice if you ask me.
I'd hate to be a citizen in a country run by one of you guys, would take a couple of weeks till you made america attack us from relentless criticisms. :p
 
And I'd hate to be a citizen of a country whose arrogance grossly outstrips its clout and potential. The "good ole" USA will never evade or diminish criticism as an aggressor. The USA will instead, on this course, inevitably decline.

Everything lives its time and then dies. But we will change the world for the better now so the future has a better foundation to be built on. We may decline but our social-political offspring will rise to take our place and will be greater than we ever could be.

We are like a mayfly laying its eggs and then dying. Sappy as it sounds this is a better analogy than I initially intended it to be.

A positive attitude towards your own country goes a long way in making things happen, but lack of self-criticism is dangerous and ignorant, no matter if you are on the left or the right wing or somewhere inbetween.
