While we may achieve human scale processing by the end of the decade, we haven't figured out direct human to computer information transfer yet.

Superintelligence.

1)
If computers were super-intelligent, the human brains would become useless, wouldn't it ?
So we humans can not be in favor of it.
See what happens to people when their job becomes useless.

2)
Beware ! Superintelligent computers would never be perfect or full fool-proof, due to their their heritage.
Remember that the Matrix computer was shutdown with a fatal program malfunction. Though it was not a white error message on a blue screen, but a green error message on a black screen, if I remember.
 
On the other hand, what if we were able to plug that "superintelligent" computer into us? What could we do then...?

If I can...plug that to my brain...the first thing I will do is:

1. Predict the power ball winning number for a 500 million ball.
2. Use the money to develop food replicators
3. Instant Transporter
4. Medical tricorder and electronic body repair system
5. Fusion power plant

Anyone else has any wish list....let us have it...

OR

Somebody could develop a foolproof plan to take over the world! :eek:

In which case, who do we let go first for the brain upgrade?? :bugeye:
