How did ancient women deliver baby?

it is illegal to give birth at home now, you must go to hospital, and the doctor will issue you a letter to register your baby's birth cert.
Where do you live? It's not illegal where I live.

when the baby did not turn his head, but the legs came out first, how ancient women cope with this?
They birthed the baby as best they could - feet first. It's called a "breach birth". It's not that unusual (3-5%).

Of course, the natural mortality rate for the babies is higher for breach births than for regular head-first births.

These days, women whose babies are breach presentations usually have caesarians because they are considered safer for the child and the mother in that case. That is if the baby cannot be turned prior to birth.

Often they died. Since that's rare, it didn't affect most women.

(BTW it's not that the "baby did not turn his head." Such a level of ignorance will often lead you to form incorrect conclusions.)
