i'm truly encouraged by the responses and the small amount of trolling. it's actually an improvement from previous years' Holocaust rememberance day threads i've started.

the Holocaust is not just a Jewish and/or Israeli tragedy. it's a Human tragedy. it can be repeated at any time in history by any country. it took less than a decade to radicalize an entire civilized nation that would sanction it. what's preventing history from repeating itself?in fact, it has repeated itself 13 years ago, and is repeating itself as we speak.
Holocaust history should be taught in schools in every country to teach children humanity and compassion, so when they grow up they don't become people who would do something like that.

I think the really ironic thing is that, as outspoken a homosexual as Genji is, he doesn't seem to realize that homosexuals were also murdered in that very same Holocaust. I suppose he would ridicule that too? I imagine not.

Some of my comments last night were revolting and truly and sincerely not who I am. I regret allowing a rightwing zionist troll to bait me into such a position. I regret I made most of those remarks. I only hope those here that bash Muslims and Arabs get the same deserved rebuke.
