Happy first day of spring. We have snow...

I much rather live on a major fault line ;)
I dunno... ...There have been a couple of heavy lake effect snowfalls here which have required me to climb up on my roof and shovel some off to clear my furnace's air intake, but at least I've never had to shovel up the remains of my house in the aftermath of a 'quake...

You should address it for what it is instead of calling it a religion if you want to be taken seriously.
Global Change has been studied for a long time before Al Gore got involved, incidentally.
How is anyone to take you seriously when you make such deluded commentary?
Name them and provide citations so we can verify that they have done so.
It's snowing here, too.

I don't deny that changes are occurring. That's called "life". Google it if you want proof. There are plenty of stories out there.
Global Warming (Global Hot Air) is like a religion to many liberals.

Ah.. I get it.
Your problem with Global Change is not scientific.
It's political.

Just so ya know... Climate Change is a Scientific Study- Not a political party. It's irrelevant to politics even if politicians must dabble in everything that is irrelevant to it.

Climate change is not a Liberal Point of View.

alGore should have named his little religion something else besides "Global Warming" if he wanted to be taken seriously.

Al Gore has nothing to do with the science of climate change.

Several of the top global warming "expert" scientists admit they forged/lied about their data.

Which ones? When? Links please.

And therein lies the biggest problem with this forum: People who are here merely to spout political nonsense (or religious (and sometimes just plain crazy)) and have no interest in science other than when it supports their own views. We have several of this sort of member, and their own pet topics range from the one in this thread, to the Palestine/Israel mess, to 'The Gay Agenda'. It gets worse, when like Sandy (Or, heavens forbid, Buffalo Roam), they ignore when they're asked for citations or if it's shown that what they're saying is bull. Then they make another thread and post the same thing.

I don't know, I just prefer my politics (and religion) to be kept far away from my science. When they come together you get shit.

So totally agreed.

alGore thinks he invented it just like he thinks he invented the internet. He is very highly associated with global hot air. I already posted several links. Do you seriously not know about all the forged/misrepresented data?

did you miss the part where you were asked for links ?

Trippy covered some of this before, but now it's official:
Winter Was Fifth Warmest on Record

(AP) It will probably come as a surprise to most Americans, but the winter just finished was the fifth warmest on record, worldwide.

Oh, sure, nearly two-thirds of the country can dispute that from personal experience of a colder-than-normal season.

But while much of the United States was colder than usual, December-February - climatological winter - continued the long string of unusual warmth on a global basis.

And parts of the United States did join in, with warmer-than-normal readings for the season in New England and the Pacific Northwest. Indeed, Maine had its third warmest winter on record, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports.....
....The Southern Hemisphere combined land and ocean temperature during the three-month season was the second warmest December-February on record, behind 1998.
