The esterior is plastic... an no to all the guesses.!!!

Ther becomin outdated but lots of homes still have 'em;;; i have 5 in use.!!!
No an no... an i have 2 in livin room... 1 in kitchen... 1 in bathroom an 1 downstairs.!!!
The 1 downstairs stretches to about 12 feet.!!!
Not a vaccume hose... but its sorta stretchy like some vaccume hoses.!!!
No... not a pipe insulator.!!!

A few times ive connected one of 'em at an outside wall of the house.!!!
Not a motor... but electricity is involved.!!!
