and actually, in this area there is a market for used cargo containers, ppl buy them then rent them to others as storage, they will bring one to you and put it in your yard(or wherever), so if you don't include being able to actually get a car in it, technically some do use it as a garage..

I've actually known of people that live in these things... Better than the street, or living out of a shopping cart.
