Acctually, horror films seem to be in right now. Most people go to movies to escape reality and a war movie reminds them too much about what is really going on in life. So, the average human is going to go to see something along a horror film to get into their unreality and avoid whats going on around them by indulging in an impossibly unrealistic movie watching experience.

I, on the ther hand, really enjoy a well-made war flick. Most recently I saw We Were Soldiers and it wasn't half bad. Barry Pepper was excelent in his role.

have you thought about doing a film on one of H.P. Lovecraft's short stories? the guy was the king of weird fiction. read this story called the 'shadow over innsmouth.' the song by metallica 'the thing that should not be' is based on this story.

there are quite a few other good stories as well. read up and see if it is feasible or not.

You know, i have an idea for a movie, but to put my idea in I would want to get paid for it. No doe, no show. That's the way it goes. However if I were to get to know you more, then maybe i would. I do have an idea though. would make lotsa money, buts its animated so....

How about you follow a boy through his life. He's picked on, the loser, does drugs often, grows up kills a guy and himself. No real outstanding action, but just stuff, kinda like 25th hour.
