No. Hate is an emotion. Not an evil. If the hate gets turned into deeds, and those deeds hurt others, then those deeds are evil.

would you agree that hate can be considered a 'red flag', a precursor to an act of evil? (see Case #1,)

I agree with Yazata's post. It's a case of having both bad thoughts and carrying out those bad thoughts. One without the other is not that bad.

People do good and bad things. Good and Evil are not entities or forces in nature like some of you are implying.
